Katharine McPhee - Videography

"Over It" (February 2007)
Director: Liz Friedlander

Description: In Katharine's first music video for her debut sing, "Over It", Kat plays a frustrated girl stricken by an upcoming break-up. Throughout the video, she is recording herself singing the song to an ex-lover. There are different set-ups that are supposed to represent the different feelings you get during a break-up -- sadness, anger, and lust (the "you missed out on this" feeling). Kat then attends a house party with her friends that her lover is at. At the very end, she corners him and hands him the DVD she had filmed saying she's "over it". There is also an alternate ending i which Kat puts the DVD back in her pocket and forgives the guy after he smirks at her.

"Love Story" (July 2007)
Director:
Marcus Rayboy

Description:
The video begins with Katharine singing with a band and some backup singers in a gold minidress. As the song progresses, she is seen at a birthday party staring at a man (played by model Erik Fellows) and also partying with her best friends. In the second verse, she wears a revealing suit and crawls on the table, next to the man at the bridge of the song. Shaken by a friend, she realizes this is just a daydream. However, at the end of the video, the two meet in a corridor. Katharine pulls the man into the cleaning supplies closet and the two embrace and kiss. Throughout the video, there are performance and dance scenes as well as shots of Katharine in a black minidress and dark make-up lounging.
