Kevin, is there a way a thread can be monitored? Like, have it so mods can approve posts before they go public? That way, questions can only be approved. We could do that and have a separate thread for discussing Regina's answers?

I think that's workable if Kevin can do it technically. Questions will probably slow down now after the initial rush so hopefully it won't be a burden on the mods. But, I would suggest starting a new topic and closing this one because it's gotten pretty big.

just a suggestion. might be easier if questions were sent to kevin, who could then make a post for each question in a new thread (without displaying the username), and over a time interval we can +/- them to see which have the greatest interest from the community.

We should figure something out so Regina doesn't have to dig through various pages of posts to find questions.

I think most of our urgent concerns have been answer. Why don't you create a weekly question thread and specify that thread is for questions ONLY and no other comments allowed.

Maybe we can do a form thing like McPhan Secret, but with a name option?

What does that mean Kevin? I don't know what McPhan Secret is.

I don't think we need to be so specific. Maybe Regina likes to read what we say about her answers and this way she doesn't have to go through multiple threads to do it! This thread has slowed down since the initial rush...it's not that hard to navigate right now.

Why don't we just have people upsize & bold any questions they have so they are easy to see. That way if Regina just wants to quickly scan for questions she can...if she wants to read the other stuff she can do that too.
Under construction.

Yeah, let's not make it complicated; just make it easy for Regina to read questions and cut down on conversations.

just so she doesn't have to sift through as many pages, maybe we should delete this entire last page? :haha:

She can sift through pages and choose for herself what she wants to answer! If we make it so that we have to vote for questions then the same peoples' questions will probs win continuously. This is more casual! Must we always be formal and pc? ;)

I agree with this!

It's just going to get complicated if you have to start submitting questions which need mod approval first etc etc etc. Like Dee says, everyone should be allowed to ask a question, and if Regina decides to answer it, then yay! :w00t:

Regina, besides "Had It All" (of course), what songs were up for consideration for the lead single?

Also, if you're allowed to go into this kind of details; what is "Keep Drivin'" about? I can think of a few ways the title could apply to very different scenarios.

Regina,
1. When did Kat start working with Verve? Was it 2008 or earlier?

2. More of a comment than a question: Considering Kat's other projects caused a delay with recording the album, I think it's all kinds of awesome that Verve accommodated Kat and ended up moving the release date back to give the album more of a chance. I have a feeling that the label that shall not be named wouldn't have done that.

3. Under Kat's Bio tab on the Verve website, there's an update from what was previously there, with Kat talking about her album and the various songs. It reads like an interview/review. Any idea where that comes from (ie, who was the reporter/interviewer/Verve intern)?

This is another question Regina didn't get to that I'm curious to know the answer of.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had nice weekends.

January 5 IS the final release date. Really really. For real. No backsies.

I forwarded a message I got to Regina concerning the writers listed in the track listing and she asked me to post this for her.

Bless your heart! I just went and asked Kat’s A&R person about this and you sharp-eyed folks may be right about this. I’ll keep you posted. I have to run out to a meeting out of the office, so if it’s not too much trouble, will you please let folks know that we’re so grateful for the heads-up and if this is in fact wrong, we’re correcting it today?

Have a great day and I’ll check in with you later,

Regina
