Amen to this. We should pause for a moment and consider how lucky we are to be getting a new Kat song or songs every week for 15 straight weeks!
And not just the songs themselves, they come with visuals too, so it's like a music video as well.

I am thoroughly impressed with the original numbers. I think LMBYS and HIMAN are probably among my top 5, but all the original numbers have ranged from good to excellent, with most being more on the excellent side. I do think some of the songs are better with visuals than just audio, but overall, Shaiman and Whitman have done an outstanding job.

The show has done a fairly good job with the covers, though I can't say I love every one. I think I prefer more of Kat's covers (solo and duets) over Megan's, though I thought Megan did a great job on Crazy Dreams. It's a Man's Man's World, Beautiful, Cheers, BTTS, etc, were really well sung by Kat.

I agree, I don't think any other actress have ever gotten the chance to do this every week on a TV show (well, apart from Megan Hilty)
even Lea Michelle usually sings with other people most of the time on Glee.
I'm happy they have so much faith in Kat and her talent and can't wait for the new songs!

Shaiman & Wittman (spl) have been awesome. I like the originals more than the covers, I think.

For Megan, I really like History is Made At Night (one of the top songs on the show, gets stuck in my head), Crazy Dreams and of course, Let's Be Bad's performance was epic, National Pastime was a great performance too, and though Kat's intepretation was much more fitting, I did like how much Megan got into parts of Never Give All the Heart.

Yea, the vocal was too low in terms of how they produced it. I can't stand when they do that.
