Castle will be a repeat; H50 will be new
Uma Thurman will guest (though probably the last few seconds of the episode). She's a real movie star though I don't know the size of her fanbase. She's famous for "Pulp Fiction" and the "Kill Bill" movies, but she's been doing indie movies the last few years.
Easter is on Sunday. Not quite an actual holiday, but people do enough activities associated with Easter that there could be some disruption to the Sunday schedule that might also spill over to Monday
The Voice is now in their live performances section. It was probably hurt by the game last week, so hopefully it will go up. At the same time, it seems like DWTS and Voice are hurting each other a bit.
That all said, I think the viewers will go up a little and the demo will go up .1

Ratings in the Spring just tend to suck or be soft, so Smash holding above a 2.0 is a minor miracle, especially for an NBC show.I've been looking at some of the other high-profile premiers for spring like GCB and Scandal...and it's really amazing to put Smash in context with those shows, which started in the low 2.0's. It's holding up well.

Slightly down from last week.
Define "really really really low"
Ugh, really? I thought with Uma and all those TT twitter activity would have been pretty high.
FB activity was really low compared to last weeks. For instance, last week's episode open discussion had nearly 190 comments and 4000 likes. This week it has just 907 likes.

Metered Market Monday Ratings
Solid Results for The Big 3
Monday 4/09/12
Metered Market Results
Household
Rating/Share
ABC 9.7/15
CBS 6.4/10
NBC 5.8/ 9
Fox 4.5/ 7
CW 1.1/ 2
----------
-Percent Change from Year-Ago Evening – Monday 4/11/11
CW: +110, NBC: +53, CBS: +19, Fox: -15, ABC: -22
----------
-Winners:
Dancing With the Stars (ABC), The Voice (NBC), How I Met Your Mother (CBS), 2 Broke Girls (CBS), Two and a Half Men (CBS), Mike & Molly (CBS), Hawaii Five-O (CBS)
-Losers (excluding repeats):
Gossip Girl (CW), Hart of Dixie (CW)
----------
-Ratings Breakdown:
ABC dominated the Monday overnights, with a 52 percent advantage over second-place CBS. Next was NBC, which is the network to beat among adults 18-49 thanks to The Voice, followed by Fox and, of course, The CW. But the real story on this second Monday in April is the value of network television, with each of the Big 3 nets succeeding thanks to a slate of diversified programming.
Dancing With the Stars on ABC was the top-rated show of the evening with a 12.1 rating/19 share in the overnights from 8-10 p.m., peaking in the 9 p.m. half-hour with a 12.6/19. But facing The Voice has cost the feel-good competition some viewers, with a year-to-year loss of 17 percent. Here are the half-hour breakdowns:
Dancing With the Stars (ABC)
8:00 p.m.: 11.5/18 (#1)
8:30 p.m.: 11.8/18 (#1)
9:00 p.m.: 12.6/19 (#1)
9:30 p.m.: 12.4/19 (#1)
My pick to bid adieu this evening: Gavin DeGraw.
At 10 p.m. on ABC was a repeat of the pilot episode of Scandal, which received plenty of extra eyeballs at a second-place 5.0/ 8 in the overnights. Last Thursday, Scandal opened with a 5.8/10 out of a 6.5/11 for Grey’s Anatomy.
Like ABC, facing The Voice has cost CBS some viewers. But the combination of How I Met Your Mother (#3: 5.4/ 9), 2 Broke Girls (#3: 5.9/ 9), Two and a Half Men (7.1/11), Mike & Molly (#2t, 6.3/ 9) and Hawaii Five-O (#1: 6.9/12) still resonates. Compared to year-ago Monday 8:30 p.m. failed occupant Mad Love (4.0/ 6 on 4/11/11), 2 Broke Girls built by a considerable 47 percent in the overnights.
Over at NBC, The Voice scored a 6.5/10 from 8-10 p.m., which built from the year-ago combination of Chuck (2.7/ 4 on 4/11/11) and Law & Order: Los Angeles (4.4/ 7) by 88 percent in the overnights. Growth among adults 18-49 will be considerably higher, no doubt. Here is the half-hour breakdown:
The Voice (NBC)
8:00 p.m.: 6.4/10 (#2)
8:30 p.m.: 6.7/10 (#2)
9:00 p.m.: 6.5/10 (#3)
9:30 p.m.: 6.3/ 9 (#2t)
Episode No. 10 of Smash led out of The Voice with a third-place 4.6/ 8 at 10 p.m. Comparably, that was equal to the second half-hour of an expanded Law & Order: Los Angeles on the year-ago evening, with retention out of the 9:30 p.m. portion of Dancing With the Stars of 73 percent. All in all, you have to give credit to NBC for not interrupting Smash with any encore telecasts. This is exactly how you should program a new series.
Elsewhere, relocated Bones got some mileage on Fox with a fourth-place 5.1/ 8 in the overnights at 8 p.m., followed by soon-to-conclude House at a fourth place 4.0/ 6 at 9 p.m. Needless to say, it was wise for the producers of fading House to call it quits. The CW capped off the evening with its low-rated pairing of Gossip Girl (#5: 1.0/ 2) and Hart of Dixie (#5: 1.1/ 2), which is unlikely to make it into a second season. The double-digit year-to-year growth for The CW stems from airing repeats of 90210 and Gossip Girl one year earlier.

Well, I'm happy that it seems it didn't dip further.

Smash really did find its core audience and is not depending so much on The Voice anymore.

Considering everyone is in a lull right now with Spring etc, I'm pretty impressed the numbers have stayed so steady!
I bet the Sunday shows also have an impact on Monday viewing in general. There are so many big cable shows etc on on a Sunday that I bet a lot of people record them and watch them on a Monday - when they should be watching Smash live

Crap, it might dip below 6 mill when the final numbers come in. Uma Thurman and weaker competition didn't help Smash!

I also expected the demo to be better. And it's definitely gonna dip below 6mil. Dammit!
