Plot: The creative team deals with what happens after the workshop of Marilyn; Derek asks Karen to help him take the show from the writers; Eileen's daughter (Grace Gummer) makes a surprise visit.

Do we have any more promos for this episode? I mean besides the Touch Me promo?
I am SO SO excited for this episode. :hyper: I hope this is the beginning of the show starting to focus a bit more on Karen rather than Ivy.

And yes a little bit of Karek working on the new number. :wub: I hope. :2shifty:

I know DVN hinted that Karen sings to help out Derek, but could she be singing the song for that producer guy instead?

Ivy wonders what her future holds in the days following the workshop. Derek tries to overthrow Tom and Julia with the help of Karen.


Of course Karen being the sweet naive girl that she is will be unaware of Derek's true intentions.

Kind of rooting for Karen to become a scheming biatch rn ngl! :lol: ok maybe not, but they act like because she is from Iowa she is completely naive about everything, which makes no sense when she moved to NYC to follow her dreams etc etc. She has to be at least pretty savvy to do that!

They should have established within the 1st three episodes just how long Karen has been in NYC and how long she has been going on auditions and what her theater background is, etc...It's hard to get a read on her character's experience. Can't wait until her Dev bg story! I can't remember if we made up that story of Karen following Dev to NYC from London or if it was something that Raza actually said...:lol: I got a little carried away with my imagination at that point. :no:
