ok maybe not, but they act like because she is from Iowa she is completely naive about everything, which makes no sense when she moved to NYC to follow her dreams etc etc. She has to be at least pretty savvy to do that!

They should have established within the 1st three episodes just how long Karen has been in NYC and how long she has been going on auditions and what her theater background is, etc...It's hard to get a read on her character's experience. Can't wait until her Dev bg story! I can't remember if we made up that story of Karen following Dev to NYC from London or if it was something that Raza actually said...Kind of rooting for Karen to become a scheming biatch rn ngl!
I got a little carried away with my imagination at that point.
