Earlier today, Katharine appeared on the Rachel Ray Show to promote ‘Smash’!  In case you missed it, check out a clip below.  Kat smashes bottles — including one on Rachel’s head… for real!

What can you expect from ‘Smash’ this coming Tuesday night (10PM/9 central on NBC)?  In the fourth episode of season two, entitled “The Song,” We take a look behind the scenes of Veronica Moore’s (Jennifer Hudson) one-night-only televised concert.  Derek (Jack Davenport) directs the special and enlists Karen (Katharine) as a crucial ensemble member for the show.

When Ivy (Megan Hilty) joins in on the act, Karen has to find a way to harmonize with her rival.  All the while, Karen tries to orchestrate a huge opportunity for Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) and Kyle (Andy Mientus), but will Jimmy’s ego get in the way?  Regardless of the outcome, can Karen avoid the chemistry boiling between her and the bad boy?  Tune in to find out!

Yesterday, Katharine was seen filming scenes for episode 16 of Smash‘s second season!  Kat’s character, Karen, is seen talking to her roommate, Ana (played by Krysta Rodriguez), before signing autographs for fans.  Check out photos from the set by following the link below.  Some plot spoilers are present in the photos, so proceed with caution!

A new episode of “Smash” airs tonight at 10PM EST (9 central) on NBC!  Take a listen to a brand new Katharine song from the episode, entitled “Good For You”!  You can also buy the song on iTunes now!

Between shooting episodes for the season season of Smash, Katharine has been indulging her inner fashionista by attending various designer shows as a part of New York City Fashion Week.  On Sunday, Katharine attended both the DVF and Zac Posen shows.  On Monday, she attended the Alice & Olivia show.  She sported very different looks at all three shows.  Check out photos by following the links below!  Which look is your favorite?

Katharine attended the amfAR New York Gala last night.  She looked absolutely beautiful in white!  She attended  the gala with one of her favorite designers, Oliver Thyskens, who designed her Golden Globes dress last month!  Check out photos from the event by following the link to the gallery below.

Tonight is the big night! Smash returns to NBC for its Season 2 premiere!  Two brand new episodes will air back to back from 9-11 PM EST (8-10 central).

First up is the premiere episode entitled “On Broadway,” which features two songs performed by Katharine!  First, we see Kat’s character, Karen Cartwright, performing a new original song (written and composed by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman) called “Cut, Print… Moving On” as Marilyn Monroe in the ‘Bombshell’ musical.  There is also a fantastic Kat duet with Jennifer Hudson to the classic “On Broadway,” which you can purchase on iTunes now!

The second episode is entitled “The Fallout.” Kat performs a brand new song, written by upcoming composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, called “Caught In the Storm.”  Click here to buy that fantastic song on iTunes now!  Tons of other excitement also ensues in both episodes, so be sure to tune in!

Tomorrow is the day we’ve all been waiting for! ‘Smash’ returns to NBC for its Season Two premiere with 2 back-to-back episodes, starting at 9 PM EST!  Katharine is making her rounds to promote the big premiere.

First up, she will be appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon tonight on NBC!  Tomorrow morning, she will be appearing on the Today Show, Live with Kelly and Michael, and the Rachel Ray Show!  Also, tune into On Air with Ryan Seacrest on ClearChannel radio stations to catch a Kat interview.
