Last night’s new episode of ‘Smash’ was the final Saturday airing of the show before the two-hour series finale on Sunday, May 26 at 9PM (8c) on NBC.
There were a lot of twists and turns throughout the episode. Plus, there were two fantastic dance numbers staring Katharine’s character, Karen. In case you missed it or just want to see it again, you can watch the episode embedded below, view it on Hulu, or purchase an HD download of it on iTunes.

‘Smash’ cancelled after two seasons
After opening to disappointing ratings in its second season and subsequently getting moved to Saturday nights, ‘Smash’ has now been officially cancelled by NBC.
“Sure, I wish that it could have five more seasons, but we had two great seasons and all I can say is I loved every moment of it,” Katharine recently told The Hollywood Reporter in response to the fate of ‘Smash’, “I loved getting to the set, I loved the people, I loved my crew. We did amazing things on the show in two years.”
There are still three episodes remaining before we say goodbye to ‘Smash’ for good. A brand new episode airs tonight at 8PM (7c) and then the two-hour series finale (two back-to-back new episodes) will air on Sunday, May 26 from 9PM-11PM (8-10c).
So, what’s next for Kat? She is currently recording her new album under Columbia Records, which is scheduled for release later this year. She is working with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Ryan Tedder, The Dream, Sia, Linda Perry, and Salaam Remi.
